The following key features of a service agreement provide a guide to how schools may choose to use their consultancy support.

SEN Training Provision
Cognition & Learning
- SEN planning meetings with Head Teacher and/orSENCo to develop termly action plans
- Detailed and comprehensive individual pupil assessment advice reflecting a holistic approach to addressing the child’s special educational needs
- Support and advice for pupils at all stages on the SEN register, including School Action, School Action Plus and with a Statement of SEN
- Support and advice for pupils with a range of learning needs, including specific learning difficulties, general learning difficulties, dyslexia and including those children with complex special educational needs.
- Attendance at review meetings, at multi-professionals meeting and at Annual Reviews
- Support and advice for formal assessment under the terms of the 1996 Education Act.
- Support and advice for suggested resources and support strategies, through individual pupil advice or verbal feedback.
- Multi-agency working with external service providers including health and education
- Close liaison with client schools at all times through planning meetings, visit records, email and telephone contact.
- Clear price structures with hourly rates shown and cost per term itemised with opportunities to buy additional support at the point of need
Behaviour, Emotional & Social

Autistic Spectrum Disorder
- Low incidence consultancy advice available on a termly basis as needed, with minimal notice required
- Service delivery on a time allocation model with fixed or flexible visit days and sessions to accommodate attendance at review meetings or Annual Reviews
- Support and advice for behaviour management programmes and the exclusion process
- Support and advice for Pastoral Support Programmes and Individual Education Plans
- Provision of observation schedules, classroom management and resource suggestions
- Training and support for teaching assistants both school based and through attendance at half termly workshops
- Support and advice for pupils at all stages on the SEN register, including School Action, School Action Plus and with a Statement of SEN

Whole School Development & Improvement
- Shared focus of support, determined after initial consultation and planning meetings, with a planned visit schedule on a termly or half termly basis
- Whole school SEN audits available, with staff, parent and pupil surveys created according to needs and focus of audit
- Coaching support for SENCos, class teachers, teaching assistants and for Head Teachers with the additional role of SENCo.
- Delivery of training on a range of SEN issues at whole school level
- Support for SEN Self Evaluation and implementing whole school SEN Action Plans
- Pre and post Ofsted support for SEN provision and practice in line with school single integrated development plan
SEN Training Provision
- Training provided on a range of SEN issues, tailored to individual school needs or selected from our current training topics
- All training delivered by PowerPoint and projector, with handbooks and all additional resources provided for each attendee
- Training provided at inset days, staff meetings, twilight sessions or during evening sessions
- Governor training provided with opportunities to share training between staff and governors within the same school
- Shared training sessions possible within a small schools cluster
- Training provided at designated conference and training centres
- Special rates for attendance at training events for client schools
